Most of my work that I have submitted has been done recently and most of them are my own characters and concept art for them as well, while ones are just there that I've created from the top of my head.
I put a lot of work into what I draw and I make sure that they are to the best of my ability, it was difficult to pick just 12 pieces since I like a lot of my art but I wasn't sure which ones to put in because I have a vast amount to pick from.

I get inspired by everyday things, normally its by shapes made on my curtains or blobs of dried paint on the floor that looks like something and when I look at something for a long time I tend to create things from it, I once made a whole world of creatures just from looking at a paint brush for five minutes and I figured out where the eyes would go and how the mouth would form. I can take inspiration from anything really, though I do get mostly inspired by books, films, tv shows and other artists on art sharing websites that I join to share my art across the globe, but my biggest inspiration is Oscar Wilde, it may not be inspiration in my art but as a person.
I have always like to draw even if its just a quick sketch on a piece of scrap paper, I just need to let that burst of imagination out and then get back onto what ever I was doing.

Personally I'am interested in joining this programme because I want to better myself as a artist and explore different media's so I can expand myself and make more art. I do believe that I have talent in this area but it is limited to what I can do right now, but I also believe that with the right direction I will be able to make my ability even better and develop the style I'am currently working at to much higher standard and develop it to a more unique style. I already do a lot of character concept art, but hopefully I will be able to work on concept ideas and make them more creative and see the world in a whole new way.

Concept designs for my own version of Beauty and the beast.

Giselle is a young French dancing girl who wants to be a singer and a actress in Broadway! she wants to see her name up in lights. With the help from Henri she can go to America. On their way to America she gives Henri the confidence to be proud about his appearance and not hide away.

Henri is the smart, shy, rich and timid man who was born with a face deformity, he helps give Giselle confidence to follow her dreams and go to America (where he falls in love with her)

Robert is a Broadway Director who wants Giselle as his woman for the only reason that she is beautiful. He tricks Henri into thinking Giselle would never love him because he wasn't handsome, or famous or rich.

This is a mix media piece I really like. I cut out the eye slot and then placed it over a page from the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and it went over the words the art, which was totally accidental but it works really well. I do rather like the idea of only using two colouring black and white in a stripe way, it does give the effect of pin stripes but rather large ones.
A design for a Selkie with Alphonse Mucha as the inspiration for this piece. Im really fond of the soft black lines and how they fit really well with the picture.

This is a fashion drawing and I used two different brushes while I digitally coloured this, and I also used one of my own characters which also has tattoos so it wouldn't just be a boring design. I used the most interesting of my character designs for this fashion drawing.
Working on backgrounds and snow. I really like the blues and grays I used, it really bring the winter out in the picture
A five minute sketch without using guide lines that I am rather proud of.
This is one of my personal favourites of the batch of mix media pieces. Mainly due to the fact that the anatomy turned out very well and how well the white piece of paper works against the brown parcel paper I used to draw this on.
This was a work in progress at semi realism, im really proud of the shading and how the nose looks as though it is popping out of the page, I do plan on finishing this once I get time to finish.
A fashion drawing I did using a new colouring style that I really like using. I used a different brush to colour with this one, I tried to make sure with this that the outfit was standing out more than the actual figure its self.
This is my attempt at something different, using the iconic image of David Bowie's alter ego Ziggy Stardust using a skin texture to try something new.
